Kate Schenk is a second year student at the University of San Francisco studying environmental studies, politics, and dance. She has been dancing since she was six with Portland, Oregon’s Classical Ballet Academy, and now the University of San Francisco’s dance department, contemporary club, and Dance Generators. Dance has given Kate so much in her life; deep connections and friendships as well as a space to find peace and release emotion. In her free time Kate enjoys listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and crafting in her junk journal.
