David Robinson, Jr. is a multidisciplinary performance artist and scholar hailing from Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts and Social Justice at the University of San Francisco. His concentration lies in Dance, while his minors are in Philosophy and African American Studies. Through his work, David delves into the body as a conduit for memory and identity, employing movement as a tool to challenge cultural narratives.

David’s practice encompasses improvisation and interdisciplinary performance, seamlessly blending text, contemporary dance, and physical storytelling. His commitment is to create work that fosters dialogue and cultivates empathy, positioning performance as both a reflective and transformative space. Driven by his passion for the performing arts, David strives to find joy and fulfillment in every aspect of his artistic endeavors.
